E-commerce & D2C.
Fast pages, short checkout, fewer excuses.
Drema builds direct-to-consumer commerce where revenue is decided by page speed, checkout friction and search visibility long before it is decided by the catalogue. We build storefronts that load fast on mid-range phones and checkouts that ask for as little as possible.
What this sector
actually deals with.
Traffic arrives and does not convert. Product pages take five seconds on mobile, checkout demands an account before it accepts payment, shipping cost appears at the final step, and category pages are effectively invisible to search.
Systems this sector
keeps needing.
The parts of a e-commerce & d2c platform that carry the weight. Not everything at once — we build the one that unblocks you first.
Headless storefronts
Server-rendered category and product pages built to Core Web Vitals targets.
Checkout optimisation
Guest checkout, minimal fields, saved details and honest cost display upfront.
Payments
UPI, cards, wallets and cash on delivery with reconciliation and idempotency.
Subscriptions and replenishment
Recurring orders with pause, skip and change handling.
Technical SEO
Product structured data, variant canonicals and crawlable facets.
Where the work
pays for itself.
The problems e-commerce & d2c teams bring us most often. If one of these is costing you money today, it is worth a conversation.
D2C brand launches
Owning the customer relationship instead of renting it from a marketplace.
Replatforming
Moving off a constraining platform without losing hard-won rankings.
Conversion recovery
Finding and fixing the specific step where revenue leaks.
Subscription commerce
Predictable revenue from replenishable products.

What shapes a build
in this sector.
These are the things a generalist team discovers late and prices badly. We design around them from the first week.
- Core Web Vitals as a ranking and conversion factor
- GST-compliant invoicing and e-invoicing
- COD handling, RTO rates and reconciliation
- URL and redirect preservation during migration
How we usually
engage here.
The services e-commerce & d2c clients most often start with.
E-commerce & D2C
questions.
Straight answers, including where we are not the right team.
Shopify or custom?
Shopify is right for many brands and we will say so. Custom or headless earns its cost when your catalogue, pricing or checkout logic does not fit the platform model, or when platform fees at your volume exceed the build cost. It is arithmetic, not ideology.
How do you improve conversion rate?
By measuring where people leave rather than guessing. The usual culprits are mobile page speed, forced account creation, late shipping costs and missing trust signals — in roughly that order.
Will replatforming hurt our SEO?
Only if done carelessly. URL mapping, redirects, structured data and content parity are planned before launch and rankings watched closely afterwards. A rushed migration can cost months of traffic.
Do you handle COD and RTO?
Yes. Cash on delivery changes the economics through return-to-origin rates, so we build address validation, risk scoring and confirmation flows that reduce RTO rather than treating COD as just another payment method.
